MyRetireHub

Disclaimer

Last updated: October 2026

MyRetireHub is a retirement and FIRE calculator: it estimates the savings needed to retire using the 4% rule, projecting contributions, investment return, inflation and Social Security, and tests an early-retirement plan. In practice, it compounds the balance forward year by year at the real return after inflation, adds your contributions and any benefit, and compares the result against a target drawn from the withdrawal rate — so the distance to the number is shown as a date rather than a guess. This page should be read with that tool in mind, because the limits described apply to what it computes.

In day-to-day use the tool works only from your age, savings, contributions and assumptions, and it is usually opened for things like checking how far away a target retirement number is. None of that reaches us, so none of it can be stored.

For information, not advice

myretirehub.com is an informational site. What MyRetireHub produces are estimates of a calculation, not measured facts and not professional guidance.

About the financial figures

Unless a page states otherwise, the financial calculators here hold rates constant, assume steady contributions and set aside fees and inflation. Reality is messier. Treat every MyRetireHub figure as an illustration and never as the single basis for a money decision.

Links to other sites

Where we link to an outside source it is for reference. We do not control that content and are not responsible for its accuracy.

Adverts and sponsorship

The Site is funded by advertising. No advertiser has any say over a result, and no ad should be read as an endorsement.

No warranty of any kind

On MyRetireHub the key assumption is that you entered a case the method covers. It compounds the balance forward year by year at the real return after inflation, adds your contributions and any benefit, and compares the result against a target drawn from the withdrawal rate — so the distance to the number is shown as a date rather than a guess. Within that we choose the method and inputs carefully; outside it, and wherever rounding, unit handling or browser quirks intrude, the Site comes with no warranty.

Checking a result yourself

You are responsible for checking that a result suits your situation before acting on it. If something looks wrong, tell us through the contact page — we would rather fix it than be right.
