MyRetireHub is a retirement and FIRE calculator, so the messages that reach us tend to be about checking how far away a target retirement number is or about a figure that did not look right. Both are worth sending.

• The values you put in (your age, savings, contributions and assumptions), to whatever precision you remember.
• The result you got and the result you expected.
• Your device and browser if something rendered incorrectly.

Messages about seeing what a higher contribution does to the date are common here, and a short description of your case is usually enough for a useful reply.

When a number looks off

Accuracy matters more here than anything else. The method MyRetireHub uses is stated on the tool's own page — it compounds the balance forward year by year at the real return after inflation, adds your contributions and any benefit, and compares the result against a target drawn from the withdrawal rate — so the distance to the number is shown as a date rather than a guess — so a result that looks wrong usually means an input sat outside the model's assumptions, or a rounding boundary was hit. Send us the value you expected and the tool you used, and we will verify it against the formula.
